Lenovo said that the K6 Power with 4GB RAM will go on sale in India on January 31. The phone, just like the earlier variant of the K6 Power, will be sold at Flipkart. It will have a price of Rs 10,999, which is Rs 1,000 more than what the company charges for the K6 Power with 3GB RAM.
Other than the amount of RAM everything is same between the two variants of the K6 Power. The phone uses a 5-inch screen with FullHD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, 32GB internal storage and big 4000 mAh battery. It also has a fingerprint sensor on its back, metal body and support for two SIM cards.
India Today Tech recently reviewed the K6 Power and found that this is a phone with lots of merits.
The K6 Power is an unassuming phone. It's not flashy. But it is good enough for most people, especially if you have a budget of Rs 10,000 for your next phone. As noted earlier, get a Redmi if you can find one. But if that is not possible, the K6 Power will get the job done. It is fast enough and has lots of storage, has great battery life and has a camera that, when used with some care, will give you pretty nice results (check image samples). From a phone that costs Rs 10,000, you can't -- and shouldn't -- expect more.
Lenovo on Tuesday also said that the company has received a lot of interest from buyers for the K6 Power.
"Since its launch on December 6, the all round performer, K6 Power has received an overwhelming response from consumers with stocks being exhausted every week within minutes of the sale," said a Lenovo spokesperson.
With its price of Rs 10,990, the K6 Power goes up against the Moto G4 phones and the recently-launched Xiaomi Redmi Note 4.
