Xiaomi has launched Mi 360°panaromic camera along with Mi Pad 3. The camera comes equipped with 23.88 MP sensor and it is also capable of recording 3.5 K video and is capable of taking 360° panoramic photos. If we look at the features, Mi 360°appears square shaped with fish eye lens located on the front and back portions and guarantees a 360-degree view.
Coming to the dimensions the camera measures 78 x 76.40 x 24mm and weighs 108.3 grams. It features 6-axis electronic image stabilization and the gadget is powered by Anba A12 image processor coupled with Sony IMX206 image sensor. Mi 360° panoramic camera is available in four modes and the camera can also be used as an ordinary camera to take regular photos.
The camera comes with IP 67 certification that makes it resistant to dust and water. The photos can also be edited through an independent app. The camera supports micro USB, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. Mi 360°panaromic camera sports a massive 16,000 mAh battery that enables the camera to last for the decent amount of time after full charge. Xiaomi claims the juice is enough to record 75 min of 360-degree videos with WiFi on and 90 min without WiFi connectivity. Also, Mi 360°panaromic camera offers support for 3-axis gyroscope and 3-axis accelerometer.
The gadget is priced at 1699 Yuan that translates to approximately (~$246). It will be available for purchase from tomorrow i.e April 6 onwards via Xiaomi Mall, Mi Mall, Xiaomi’s official flagship store on Lynx, Jingdong, Suning.
