Sony Xperia XZs smartphone with Motion Eye camera technology has been launched in India. Priced at Rs. 49,990, the new Sony smartphone will be available on Flipkart and in offline retail stores from April 11. The smartphone will be retailed in Ice Blue, Warm Silver, and Black colours, and the dual-SIM (Nano-SIM) variant has been launched in India.
Sony Xperia XZs smartphone flaunts a 5.2-inch full HD (1080p) Triluminos display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The Sony Xperia XZs powered by the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card. On the photography a 19-megapixel rear camera setup and 13-megapixel front facing camera support. The device also come with a 2,900 mAh battery with quick charge 3.0 support. On the software front, it runs on Android 7.1 Nougat. The device is resistant to dust and water. Other connectivity options include 4G LTE support, WiFi, Bluetooth and USB support.

To recall, the Sony Xperia XZs was initially launched by the Japanese company at MWC 2017 along with Xperia XZ Premium, Xperia XA1, and Xperia XA1 Ultra smartphones. Its main highlights are the 19-megapixel Motion Eye camera - with super slow motion video recording, and the capable Snapdragon 820 SoC.
The Xperia XZs is a pint-sized RX100 IV. Just like the RX100 IV, Sony's Xperia XZs can theoretically shoot slow-motion clips at a mind-boggling 960-frames-per-second
Sony Xperia XZs was launched along side XZ Premium, Xperia XA1 and Xperia XA1 Ultra smartphones at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in February. There’s no official word on whether Sony will bring the other three devices to India as well.
