Nokia 6, the first Nokia-branded smartphone by HMD Global was launched earlier this year in China and is already up for sale. So far, Nokia 6 has been available in just one color variant – Black. The smartphone has been hugely popular in the country with the devices getting sold out instantly during flash sales. JD.com, Chinese retailer has now listed a Silver-White Nokia 6 on their website. Sales for the device commence April 11 and the price stays the same as the Black color variant.
The phone doesn't differ in any way from the black one. Both storage configurations come with 4GB of RAM while the lower-tier 32GB model lacks NFC (and by extension Android Pay).
Nokia 6 is a mid-range device ad runs Android Nougat OS out-of-the-box. The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 430 processor and is available in 2 internal memory variants – 32GB with 3GB RAM and 64GB with 4GB RAM. The phone comes with a 5.5-inch FHD display and Gorilla Glass 3 screen. On the back is a 16-megapixel snapper while the selfie camera is 8-megapixel. Nokia 6 boasts of a 3000mAh battery. The fingerprint sensor is mounted on the home button right below the display.
Initially, rumor mills pegged Nokia 8 as the flagship but soon, details related to Nokia 9 came to light and the smartphone has been eagerly awaited since then. Nokia 9 is expected to bring in a whole lot of variants and sport OZO Audio 3D technology along with an iris scanner. The specifications of the device are keeping in line with other flagships, leaks suggest. The IP68 certified device is expected to come with Snapdragon 835 processor, dual rear end camera set up and QHD display. There is no word on when any of the Nokia devices will be coming to India.
