Xiaomi is celebrating its seventh birthday by hosting a Mi Fan Festival on April 6.


Xiaomi has always been very inclusive of its fans, be it celebrating a milestone or a product launch. Now, on its seventh birthday, Xiaomi wants to give the love back to its fans through the Mi Fan Festival. On April 6, 2017, Xiaomi India will host a sales fest on Mi.com, where it will showcase some new products, along with discounts on its existing offerings. The sales and offers will include cash backs, Re 1 flash sales, and a fun speed-challenge based ‘Tap Mi’ game.

New launches
Among new launches is the recently announced Xiaomi Redmi 4A, and the Rose Gold variant of the smartphone will go on sale for the first time during the festival. “Xiaomi is turning seven and our excitement for Mi Fan Festival has grown seven-fold with all the offers we have for our fans. We are thrilled about the Rose Gold edition of our latest smartphone Redmi 4A which will go on sale for the first time. We intend to bring smiles on the faces of Mi fans with these special and exclusive offers during the festival,” said Manu Jain, Vice President and Managing Director, Xiaomi India.

Launched in India on March 20, while the dark grey and gold variants of the Redmi 4A went on sale last week, the rose gold variant will be making its exclusive debut on Mi.com on 6th April. Priced at Rs 5,999, the Xiaomi Redmi 4A sports a 5-inch HD display, and is powered by Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon 425 quad-core chipset, with 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of expandable internal storage. It sports a 13-megapixel primary camera, and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. Fuelling the device is a 3,120mAh battery.

Re 1 flash sale
First up, Xiaomi will host a Rs. 1 flash sale to let users buy the Redmi Note 4 for just that much. It is an app-only event so you must download the app and register to be a part. This sale will begin at 10am IST, and 20 Redmi Note 4 will be up for grabs on the Mi Store app. Also, there will be a sale at 2pm IST where 40 Mi Band 2 and 50 10000mAh Mi Power Banks will be up for grabs for Re. 1 as well.

Cash back and EMI

Furthermore, the Mi Fan Festival will include offers like a no cost EMI on Mi Max Prime. Mi.com will also offer a 5 percent cash back with State Bank of India debit and credit cards on April 6, on a minimum transaction value of Rs 5,000. The maximum cashback offered will be Rs 500.

Other offers
Coupons for all accessories will be offered at 10AM from 3rd to 5th April. Xiaomi India will also be offering Mi Protect insurance plans for Mi devices against accidental or liquid damage at a discount of up to Rs 200.

Additionally, there will be some bundle offers, which will give customers Rs 400 to Rs 1500 off on current selling price. For instance, customers can get discounts on combination of a Mi Band 2 and Mi Capsule Headphones, which is the fitness bundle. The there is a holiday bundle, which offers discounts on the combination of a Mi Bluetooth Speaker, a Selfie Stick, and a Mi In-Ear Headphones Basic Matte Black.


There will also be discounts on the bundle of a Standard Adapter, with a USB Cable, and a 20,000mAh Mi Power Bank. Other than that, there are offers on bundles of Mi In-Ear Pro HD Earphones, and 10,000mAh Mi Power Bank Pro, and on the combination of Mi Air Purifier 2, and Mi Air Purifier Filter.
