Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 with 4GB of ram ,4G VoLTE enabled launched

The Mi Pad 3 aesthetically looks similar to the Mi Pad 2, but features some hardware improvements. The tablet is priced at CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs. 14,100) and is currently available in Champagne Gold. However, there is currently no word on whether Xiaomi plans to launch the tablet in India.

As far as the specifications are concerned, the Mi Pad 3 flaunts a 7.9-inch retina display with 2048×1536 pixels resolution, and a pixel density of 326ppi. The display comes with features like eye protection mode for when you want to read at night, and also a black-and-white mode that mimics an e-ink display. Under the hood is a 2.1GHz MediaTek MT8176 hexa-core processor, paired with 4GB of RAM. There is also 64GB storage on offer.

On the camera front, the tablet sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 5-megapixel selfie camera up front. Keeping the tablet ticking is a 6,600mAh battery with support for 5V/2A fast charging. On the connectivity front, the tablet supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1, and USB Type-C port.

At the moment all we know is that the new Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 runs on MIUI 8. There is however no word on whether Xiaomi also plans to launch a Windows version of its new tablet.

In comparison, last year’s Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 featured a 7.9-inch (2048×1536 pixels) IPS display, 2.24GHz Intel Atom x5-Z8500 quad-core chipset, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB/64GB storage options.

The tablet also came with an 8-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel camera up front, a 6,190mAh battery, and connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11ac and USB Type-C.
