Xiaomi has also launched it’s first in India. Called the Xiaomi Mi Router 3C, the entry-level router was first unveiled in China last year. It is a wireless router without inbuilt DSL modem functionality.
The Mi Router 3C is equipped with four antennas – two each for transmitting and receiving data. It is a single-band router that operates on 2.4GHz Wi-Fi band, and offers a maximum theoretical data throughput of 300MBps.
The ports on the Mi Router 3C includes one WAN, two LAN, and one for power. It is equipped with a MediaTek MT7628N processor, mated to 64MB of RAM and 16MB of storage. You can configure the device with the Mi Wi-Fi app, which is available for both Android and iOS devices. The app offers an array of features including parental controls that let you create a blacklist and / or a whitelist of specific websites, a built-in firewall, timers for turning Wi-Fi on or off, setting up a guest network, data monitoring, a Wi-Fi booster feature and more.

The Xiaomi Mi Router 3C comes in white color, is priced at Rs. 1,199 and will be available from mi.com starting May 23rd 12 noon. It will be available from Flipkart and Amazon.in from June 8th.
