Xioami Jason is expected to launch in August this year

" Xioami Jason To Launch In India As Xiaomi Mi 6X Smartphone"

A week ago, the Xiaomi device named Xioami Jason was listed on the, whose report states.The device boasts an interesting combination of features that comfortably puts it in the top tier mid-range category. Xiaomi hasn’t said anything about a new mid-range phone but new reports say the phone may launch as the Xiaomi Mi 6X.

The report further says that the Xioami Jason is expected to launch in August this year and will be priced at 1999 Yuan which is approximately Rs 18,904. The Xiaomi Jason will be featuring a Snapdragon 660 chipset but as per the report, the device might also come with its own Surge S2 processor as another variant.

As per the earlier listing on GFXBench, Xiaomi Jason has a 5.1-inch display that has 1920x1080 pixels resolution and five finger gesture support. Besides as per the listing, it has Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 2.2 GHz octa-core processor, 6GB RAM, 64GB of internal storage out of which 50GB will be reserved for the users, Adreno 512 GPU and Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system. The listing, however, does not mention anything about the battery.

As per the benchmark listing, the Xiaomi Jason has a 12-megapixel autofocus camera and a LED flash on its rear panel while a 4-megapixel camera is in its front for selfies. The GFX listing shows that the device has connectivity features like Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and WiFi. As per the listing, the device has accelerometer, light, proximity and gyroscope sensors as well.

The difference between Xiaomi Mi 6 and Xiaomi Jason is its processor and front camera. The Xiaomi Mi 6  has a Snapdragon 835 chipset as against Snapdragon 660 in Jason while Mi 6  has an 8-megapixel front camera and Mi 6c has a  4-megapiel camera. As per specs, Xiaomi Jason is considered to be the lower variant of Mi 6.
