LG V30 could be the company’s first to feature a dual selfie camera

LG’s V-series smartphones have evolved into the company’s flagships, more so than the G-series hardware, due to interesting unique features and often stronger processors. The last model, the V20, only arrived in late 2016 so isn’t due for replacement just yet, but rumors of a so-called V30 are already starting to spread.

According to recent leaks ;image not only shows a slot for the secondary screen (or ticker display), but also two circular holes that might accommodate selfie cameras. Until now, LG has launched smartphones with dual rear cameras but the V30 could be the first LG phone to have dual selfie cameras.
It has been previously rumoured that LG V30 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, along with 6GB of RAM. An improved DAC audio technology is also expected. Since the LG V20 was launched in September last year, we can expect a similar launch time frame for the V30 as well.

On a related note, LG launched its G6 flagship smartphone at the MWC 2017 conference last month. Unlike G5, the LG G6 does not sport a modular design. The smartphone is available in Ice Platinum, Atro Black and Mystic White colour options, and comes with a metallic body having chamfered edges. LG G6 is IP68 rated for water and dust resistance.

LG G6 runs LG UX 6.0 based on the Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. It sports a unique 5.7-inch 'FullVision' display with 1440x2880 pixel resolution. The smartphone's screen-to-body ratio has also been increased, as there are minimal bezels on the top and bottom.

Delivering processing muscle to LG G6 is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM. There's 32GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD cards. Comprising two 13MP sensor modules at the back, the G6 also has triple-axis OIS and LED flash. For the selfie lovers, there's a 5MP front shooter with 100-degree wide angle lens and f/2.2 aperture.
Weighing 163g, the LG G6 is backed by a 3,300mAh battery, which is 500mAh more than the 2800mAh battery of the G5.
